My Story

From a young age, I was drawn to art and stop motion animation. In high school, that passion found a home in the Video Production program, where I discovered a community that pushed me to grow.Throughout school, I became more involved with the Seattle Film Society and connected with filmmakers from Seattle Film Institute and Emerson College, where I found even more inspiration and people to learn from.

At this time, I discovered an exciting spark through the competitive environment of local film festivals. It pushed me to grow, experiment, and take filmmaking more seriously. The energy of sharing films and consistently putting my best work forward gave me a deeper appreciation for both the art form and the community. It gave me a lasting drive for the rewarding feeling that came when everything paid off.

Throughout this journey, I fell in love with the visual and artistic side of cinema. That passion led me to focus on cinematography.Editing also quickly became an essential part of my process, coming naturally and intuitively to me from a young age. For my cinematography, it allowed me to think on a larger scale about what was possible, while giving me a clearer understanding of how to shape and execute my cinematography for the narrative.Today, I will soon begin study at Loyola Marymount University, where I will continue developing my voice as a filmmaker and cinematographer.
